1 white man named Stringer killed in July by white man named Yelton. Cause - a drunken quarrel - killing took place in Anderson Co.

1 white man found dead in Anderson Co in June - Supposed to have been killed because he was an important witness in a horse stealing case.

1 white man named Edwards killed at Huntsville Walker Co. about the 1st of August by a white man named Oatin. Cause - some personal quarrel. Edwards, the man killed, had in his life time killed 5 men and wounded 2 or 3 others.

2 white men killed at Danville Montgomery Co. They were quarreling about something and one drew a revolver and shot the other
