Personally appeared before me W. H. Horton [[strikethrough]] who being dul [[/strikethrough]] D. W. Barrett who being duly Sworn depose and say that immediately after the court of Jno. M. Beavers was broken up by saying he came to the office of the Freedmans Bureau to make statement of occurrences [[strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] in his count to Genl Reynolds_ that in the office he (Beavers) met Sherrif Jones and when Jones said as a reason for not executing the order of the Justice of the peace that he did not hear it Beavers repeated the order in our presence viz:  that he had fined Sayers $50.00 for Contempt and that he (Sherrif Jones) should take him in custody until it was paid= When the Sherrif was ordered by the J.P. to [[strikethrough]] Subs [[/strikethrough]] make the arrest he laughed and walked out of the Office without making any reply
