War Department,
Bureau Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands,
Washington, D.C., June 10th 1867.

Mr. P. F. Duggar is hereby appointed an Agent in the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands, State of Texas at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) per month.

This appointment is made under the provisions of "An Act to continue in force, and amend an Act to established a Bureau for the relief of Freedmen and Refugees, and for other purposes." It will take effect June 10th 1867. and remain in force until revoked by orders from this office.

The oath required by law will be taken, and filed in the office of the Asst. Commissioner of the State of Texas.
