Dear Sir:-
Your letter of October 8th is received. The prices asked for the Kenzan screen and the three kakemono by Sotan were much higher than I agreed to pay, and as you intimated no desire to lower your prices I did not consider them any further. If you are now prepared to make very much lower prices both for the kakemono and the screen I will be pleased to consider them. Let your prices for the three kakemono appear in one item and the price for the Kenzan screen in another item.

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
