Detroit, Mich., October 14th, 1905.

B. Kobayashi,
Care, Imperial Hotel,
New York City.

Dear Sir:-
Your telegram of the 13th inst. reached me late last evening. And although the message is somewhat confused, I understand it to read as follows:-

"I take your offer. Goods will be sent as soon as possible."

So I conclude that you have accepted my offer as follows:-
For the three Sotan Kakemonos, Twenty-five hundred dollars. For the one two-fold Kenzan Screen, Six hundred dollars, in all Thirty-one hundred dollars. And that you will forward the Kakemonos and Screen to me at Detroit as promptly as possible.

As soon as the Screen and Kakemonos arrive I will send you the money. Shall I address it to you in care of the Imperial Hotel?

Awaiting your reply, I remain,

Very truly yours,
Charles L Freer
