Will you kindly think this matter over and favor me with your views at your early convenience? If you think well of the scheme and Dewing and Thayer are, also, willing to co-operate, I will write Mr. Trask accordingly. Leaving the choice of pictures and all other details for our future mutual consultation.

I spent four months in Europe, principally in Paris and London, and returned to here September 1st. Since which time I have been living at the Cadillac Hotel. But I am going back to my own house today.

I have been changing the stable into a store house and exhibition room, making it fire-proof and getting a room sixty feet long by twenty-two feet wide with splendid sky-lighting. The work is still in progress, but all of the dirtiest part is over. So I feel warranted in opining my house again. The new rooms will not be in shape for use until after January 1st.

With kind regards to Mrs. Tryon and yourself, I remain,

Most sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
