November 6th, 1905.

Dear Mr. Trask:-

Your kind letter of November 4th containing the sketch of the floor plan of Gallery "A" came in this mornings mail. The sample of burlap, however, is not yet here but will doubtless arrive tomorrow.

This evening I go to Chicago to be absent two or three days, and by the time of my return home I shall probably have heard definitely from Messrs. Tryon and Thayer. After which I will communicate more fully with you.

A reply from Mr. Dewing has been received. And he thinks well of the scheme provided, -the new room is satisfactorily lighted. He suggests a willingness to go to Philadelphia with me soon and have a look at the wall and its covering. I think this can be arranged.

I now hope to be in the east about the middle of next week. And if Messrs. Tryon and Thayer are willing to join in the exhibition I will make it a point to visit Philadelphia before my return to Detroit, and will ask Mr. Dewing to go over from New York with me.

I appreciate your kind reference to the little visit we enjoyed together here. I only regret that I was not feeling better during your stay, and that I could not have offered you more hospitable entertainment.

I am glad to add that I have fairly recovered from my little illness.

With kind regards,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
