Replying to your courteous note of the 6th instant.

I regret to say that I have no knowledge of, and consequently slight interest, in music. Therefore, you will readily understand that I cannot consistently consent to the use of my name as a patron to the concerts named. I am pleased, however, to become a subscriber to the tickets, and enclose herein Two Dollars, ($ 2.00), for which please send two tickets to my address as above.
