259 250 #33 Ferry Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, November 9th, 1905. Dear Mr. Trask:- Referring to my letter of November 6th. I take pleasure in stating that I have received [[strikethrough]] a [[/strikethrough]] promises of the co-operation of Messrs. Dewing, Thayer, and Tryon in preparing a group of their pictures for exhibition in your Gallery "A." And I am sure that they will all be pleased if you could secure a group of Mr. Whistler's work to be added to theirs for the Exhibition. I have, also, received the sample of burlap, mentioned in your letter of November 4th. As named in my recent letter, I am now planning to visit New York next week. And while there I shall go to Philadelphia and invite Mr. Dewing to accompany me. We can then examine the room together, and I trust at that time we can arrange satisfactorily all details. I fancy you will now invite Mr. Canfield's Whistlers. Very sincerely yours, Charles L. Freer John E. D. Trask, Esq., Manager, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia.
