#33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
November 11th, 1905.

Rev. Rufus W. Clark, D.D.,
Pres., State Society, Sons of the American Revolution,
Detroit.

Dear Sir:-

It would afford me much pleasure to accept your kind invitation to be present at the next meeting of the State Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, to be held on November 24th, next, and to listen to the discussion then to be given on "Our Commerce on the Pacific." But, unfortunately for me, I shall be absent from the city at that time. Let me, therefore, express my regret and thank you for the kind invitation.

I appreciate, also, your courteous reference to the pictures under my charge. And I hope to have the pleasure of showing some, at least, of them to you in their home surroundings as soon as the changes in my house, now in progress, are completed. I need not add that personal acquaintance with you will be an additional pleasure.

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
