Dear Mr. Freer:-

Herewith, are two enclosures received since my letter of the 22nd instant:-

No. 14 Letter from Mr. Jerome

No. 15 Letter post-marked, "Detroit"

Yesterday I received your letter of the 21st instant relative to Mr. Mayeda, and Mr. Eyre's letter relative to the template for the diffusing sash, with your endorsement thereon. I wrote Mr. Mayeda as suggested.

This morning I have a letter from him which crossed mine to him in the mail, in which he says he will leave Cleveland either Friday or Saturday night, so that he will, no doubt, be in town by Sunday.

The template had not been made but Vinton's foreman at the house is making it today, and when finished it will be forwarded to Mr. Eyre's New York office.

While I was at your building yesterday Mr. Hesse was on the ground. There are three men working at the roof, being all he can put on, he says. It is going slowly but each day sees some additional surface covered. He informed me that he was unable to get the wired glass of the size required for the skylights in town, and because of the size the glass has to be made to order in
