Dear Sirs:—

I regret the necessity of again calling your attention to the vexatious delay caused by the slowness in which you are executing your contract on my building. During the last two weeks you have made little or no progress - working only two men per day. And at this rate your work on the building is not likely to be finished before January 1st.

I have requested your foreman time after time to do the necessary flashing and other work necessary to protect the job from repeated injuries, but he pays no attention to my requests. And your Mr. Hesse, for some reason, keeps entirely away from the work when ever there is a chance of his meeting me there.

Practically three months ago I called your attention to the sash for sky-lights and other items to which I desired proper attention given. The sash I particularly mentioned to you personally about September 10th, and you then promised to give it immediate personal attention.
