My dear Mr. Bing:-

The piece of Racoa [[Roca]] pottery has been received safely, and I have examined the same carefully. It is a beautiful specimen but I must deny myself the pleasurer of buying it. The price, Forty-five Hundred Dollars, ($4500.00) places it beyond my reach. So in accordance with your instructions I have forwarded the same, by American Express, charges prepaid, to Ferdinand Bing & Company, Successors, No. 10 Washington Place, New York City.

I trust that you are keeping very well.

I am enjoying good health. And my time is very fully occupied in attending to many things which require personal attention.

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
