#33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
November 28th, 1905.

Dear Miss Watson:-
You will pardon, I know, this type-written letter, but I am starting for Boston, to-night, and have only a few moments in which to dictate the results of my interview and correspondence with Mr. Tryon.

He is very much disappointed, naturally, in the unfortunate accident to your beautiful picture, but says that he can restore it completely.

In a letter received this morning he states,-
"It may require some time as I will have to wait for successive dryings."

By this he means that he will have to make the restoration in very thin layers and let each one dry separately. So he may find it necessary to keep the picture a considerable time.

If you will kindly have the painting forwarded to Mr. N. E. Montross, #372 Fifth Avenue, New York City, he will take it to Mr. Tryon's studio.

You are keeping very well, I trust.

I had a fine time in New York last week, and am looking forward to a pleasant visit in Boston and vicinity.

With kindest messages.

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
