New York City.

My Dear Professor Fenellosa:-

I spent all of yesterday in looking through three different shipments of paintings, etc. recently received from Matsuki, Yamamoto and Mayesa, and out of the lot I have selected a few specimens which I have taken the liberty of shipping by American Express pre-paid, to your residence in New York City. They are as follows:-

Twelve un-mounted paintings of animals, flowers, birds, et., attributed to Korin.

One album containing twenty-four fans, painted by Korin.

One Kakemono, turtle on rock, and two storks on the sky, attributed to Korin.

One Kakemono, a large one, of a girl standing beside a cherry tree, attributed to Hokusai.

One Kakemono, pine tree and squirrel, attributed to Shugetsu.
