Lincoln Trust Bldg.,
St. Louis, Mo.

My Dear Mr. Bixby:-

I am glad to have your kind letter of December 9th, and your willingness to co-operate in the fourth-coming Philadelphia Exhibition is most gratifying. We shall do our best to make the room simply beautiful, and your contribution will aid us grately [[greatly]].

Yes, all expenses ought to be paid by the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and if Messrs. McCaughen & Burr will render bill to me against the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, including charges for packing, taking the picture from the walls of your house and putting it back in position again, I will be glad to certify it, and I am sure the Pennsylvania Academy will be delighted to reimburse them.

With kindest greetings,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
