Dear Sir:--
Referring to your letter of the 20th ultimo and my reply of December 1st, thereto, relative to insurance policy covering Mr. Charles L. Freer's painting, which has been on exhibition and Venice, and the expiry date of which is December 25th, next.

As we have received no definite advice, as to the date of the shipment of the painting from Venice or information as to its receipt on this side of the water, will you kindly extend the insurance on this painting for another month after the expiry date of the present policy, and greatly oblige.
Very truly yours,
JM Kennedy
