#33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
December 29th, 1905.

Dear Mr. Trask:--
Since seeing you last I have been absent from Detroit the greater part of the time, and to-day I am considering the pictures by Whistler, Dewing, Tryon, and Thayer for exhibition in your forthcoming show. The value of the paintings will equal about Fifty thousand dollars; and, I write to inquire if you will attend to the insurance or if you prefer to have me do it through Mr. Macomber of Boston, who usually attends to such matters in cases where my pictures are interested.

You are keeping well, I trust, and enjoying a happy Holiday week, I hope.

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
