proved unsatisfactory to you, and as no sample of the title to be furnished has been received here by either Holmes and Company or the Detroit Cornice and Slate Company, the Roofing Contractor and the Carpenter Contractor do not seem able to get together as to the location of the strips for attaching the tiles, so that if you will send me a full sized drawing of the tiles showing the holes, it will enable us to decide the point in the absence of a sample tile.

Vinton Company has asked me when the hardware will be along. They need it at once, and Mr. Carew tells me that he wrote you a few days ago about it, and I presume you have already given the shipment of it attention. If you should want Vinton to furnish a list of any of the old hardware which can be re-used in the living room, be-fore the shipment of the new, it can be sent you.
