[[box]] 70% Moronobu 75% Very tall girl strange reds & blues in dress which has morning glory pattern. This has a Kano touch in it, like Tanyu. It is doubtful if it be Moronobu at all. It stands between Matabu, and the ordinary Morandu. So, if it be Moronobu, it must be very early. There is one almost exactly like it in Boston [] 2752 [] 12 [[box]] 69% Choshun Two figures in garden at house door. 70% This is not great - looks like a Tasunemasa. But the signature seems genuine. And yet, it belongs to a date so far advanced toward 1725 or so, as to be ten years later than any Choshun I have ever seen. I did not know C. worked so late. Its chief interest lies in this historic fact.
