or if she does not notify the Company in writing or by telegraph of her intention to return to service within ten (10) days of sending notice offering to re-employ her or she does not return to the service of the Company on or before the date specified in the notice offering such re-employment, which date shall not be less than fifteen (15) days after such notice is sent by registered mail or telegram to the Stewardess at the last address filed by her with the Personnel Department.

F.  Stewardesses furloughed due to reduction of force, on return to duty shall be allowed, for seniority purposes, all time accrued prior to such furlough but shall not continue to accrue seniority during the period of furlough. All such furloughs shall expire at the end of one year from effective date of the furlough and the Stewardess shall cease to have preference for re-employment.

SECTION 8

FILLING OF VACANCIES

A.  Stewardesses desiring to transfer to a different domicile may file a permanent bid in writing with the Personnel Department stating the domicile to which they desire to transfer. When permanent domicile vacancies occur, the senior Stewardess who has a bid on file will be offered an opportunity to transfer and fill the vacancy. Upon transfer, the Stewardess shall not file another bid for a period of six (6) months from the date of transfer. Any Stewardess transferred to fill such vacancy shall be available to begin the assignment on the date set by the Company, which shall be not less than five (5) days from the date notified of the assignment. A Stewardess shall be allowed a reasonable period between the time she is relieved of her duties and the time she is required to report at the new location. Such time shall be established in advance and shall be dependent upon the means of travel.

B.  Temporary vacancies of sixty (60) days or longer shall be bulletined at all domicile points where Stewardesses are located. The bulletin shall state the expected length of temporary vacancy, the number of such vacancies if more than one, the location of the

vacancy and the place where bids are to be sent and the last date on which they will be received. Such date will be a minimum of five (5) days after the date a bulletin is posted. Any Stewardess transferring to fill such vacancy shall be available to begin the assignment on the date set by the Company, which shall be not less than five (5) days from the date notified of the assignment. A Stewardess shall be allowed a reasonable period between the time she is relieved of her duties until the time she is required to report at the new location. Such time shall be established in advance and shall be dependent upon the means of travel.

C.  When no bids are on file or are received, the Company may request any Stewardess willing to accept the assignment, or may assign the most junior Stewardess qualified, to fill the vacancy.

D.  Temporary vacancies of less than sixty (60) days may be filled by assignment at Company request.

E.  Assignment as First Stewardess or to equipment and direction of flying from a domicile shall be made in accordance with the needs of the service from the Stewardesses at the domicile where the vacancy exists in accordance with their preference in order of seniority.

F.  Successful bidders on Stewardess assignments to newly established domiciles will be considered as transferred at Company request and Paragraph J of this Section will apply.

G.  In the event of the geographical relocation by the Company of a portion of or all of the Stewardess assignments from a particular domicile, each Stewardess affected shall be considered transferred at Company request and paragraph J of this Section will apply. Such assignments may be filled by local bidding.

H.  Stewardesses who have not completed their probationary period shall not be entitled to bid for vacancies or to preference in assignments.

I.  Successful bidders on permanent or temporary domicile transfers, and Stewardesses making mutual transfers with the approval of the Company shall pay their own moving expenses to their new domicile station except that the Company shall furnish free contingent
