Post Hospital
Natchez Jan 16th, 1867

Doctor,
I do forward direct to the Chief Med Officer BRF & AL
one cappy of Monthly statement of Hospital Fund.
I think you requested me to do so when you was here.
Col Biddle & Lady are with us, they came Sunday night.
Col Ritter arrived at Macon before they left. Mrs Ritter I learn is much pleased with her new position Husband &c especially the &c.
We would be glad to see you here the weather is not so unpleasant and we think you could spend a week here about as well as any other place in the state.
