I am glad that the Holiday Season was passed with enjoyment by yourself and family for it is a season to which you all look forward with pleasurable expectation- I am of course, also glad that Watson got through the festivities of one kind and another so well- Mr. Caskey has asked me to subscribe $150.00 towards the Font T A & Efficiency for the year ending May 1st next, and I have written him that I would gladly do so.  Will you kindly send him a check for that amount.  With me all goes well and pleasantly.

At Ahmedabad I found the most beautiful wood carving I have ever seen and was treated with great consideration by a charming old Jain family.
