It seems wonderful to me that my lameness should have come at so fortunate a time. The work in India practically done and nearly a months sea voyage immediately following. Fate seems to favor this trip!

Yourself and family are well, I trust, I wish you could have, each one of you, a share of the happiness of travel, which now, I am indolently dreaming over and over. Very sincerely your friend
