Day after tomorrow my visit here will cease and I shall then start for London going via Rome, Florence and Paris. I have not reserved ocean accommodations but as soon as I do so I will advise of name of steamer and date of sailing. 

Aside from two business trips to Naples I have not been off the island since my arrival.

My stay has been delightful and I preferred to remain here rather than do anything else.  

The walks improve with acquaintance, the swimming is splendid, the weather perfect and the scenery becomes more interesting daily. We are deeply interested in improving our garden which in turn will delight those who see it next spring. 

We are erecting in it two old well covers which we bought of an old convent in Naples, are building a stunning pergola on top of the new cistern which will give us a fine view of Tiberio, and this morning we closed a deal by which we get possession of a small piece of land connected with our garden which will round
