Poor Louise, what a lot of suffering she has undergone!  Still, she has the sweet reflection of having her baby spared to her and of having passed safely through a very dangerous operation. I hope her recovery will be rapid and sure. Do give her my best wishes and affection.

George Ressel is too good a fellow to break down or even shatter his health at his early years; he has worked very hard during all of his business life and ought to apply the brakes.
