June 25th 1901....2.

However, fascinating as it all is, I must on Monday next, July 1st, turn my back upon it all. I shall first visit a few old Tuscan towns which I have never seen, then go to Venice for a peep at the exhibition, after which probably, Vienna, Munich, Dresden, Paris and home on the "Maria Theresa" of the North German Line via Cherbourg July 31st due in New York about August 6th.

Tom goes to Germany to pursue certain studies at one of the Universities or possibly under some specialist outside of the Universities.

After leaving here, mail and telegrams if any, will have to take some considerable chance of delay, as I dont see how I can make up an itinerary in advance. I expect to reach Paris however, not later than July 26th. Mail and telegrams sent care of Brown, Shipley and Co London, will in time reach me.

Tom joins in warmest regards to yourself and family.

Faithfully
Freer.

P.S.
Weather perfect.

Long hand.
