will you kindly have it sent as soon as you can?

I have made drafts on my letter of credit to date amounting to just £4,000. The last draft was £90 dated June 19th.

I am extremely sorry about Will McMillan's late tussle with the king. If he keeps up his intimacy with the bottle he will soon be done for! What a pity such a fine fellow should sacrifice everything (and he has so much before him) for drink!

A letter received from Watson this morning brings better news of little Louise - of this I am very glad. They have had a shocking time and last week I felt like returning and going direct to Kingston.

It was a poor thought however, for I quickly recognized that I would surely do more harm than good there under the circumstances.

I am hoping that everything there will soon be happier.

With all good wishes to yourself and family.
Yours always sincerely
Charles L. Freer
