Your full and very interesting letter reached me late last evening, and I am sending a hurried line in reply before sailing for Palestine and Syria today.

Let me thank you most warmly for having alluded to my interest in the Yaeger Canon matter, the Copper Range, and the other affairs. I regret the sad news of your sister's decline.

It is good however, to know that Ed Hauss is gaining so quickly. I hope for better news from
