Kingston ere long. If Louise and Harrie go to them they will son pick up, I am sure. Louise will brighten up Anna and Watson and Harrie and little Louise are such great chums.

My short stay in Egypt has been most profitably and interestingly spent - even here in Alexandria, yesterday I ha [[strikethrough]] n [[/strikethrough]] d my hands upon one of the great prizes of the whole world of pottery and another of bronze equally wonderful - Owned by a wealthy Greek family and in the finest private collection in Egypt. But it was all too sudden, too great! My desire must have been apparent to the wise Greeks - I must have "spoiled the business" as the jews say - for one hour they were practically mine, and the next hour millions would seemingly not be considered by the Greeks.

You see, my wishing had been too hurried and not deep enough! No museums in the world can match these two pieces! I shall wish and wait!!! The Greeks beat the Japs as traders! Now, I am wondering what sort the Syrians are on their native heath. That's the land for Racca!

This rambling note must end- With best wishes to all,

Very sincerely yours
Charles L. Freer

P.S. My impressions of last year concerning Egyptian art are being strengthened daily. So very near where I am now writing tremendous work is being dug up constantly.
