I am sorry for Ed Hauss. I fear he is overworried. Why not try to induce him to take a long vacation during the dull time of business. The coming winter may see great activity again in his line. The March business was, to me, far better than I expected.

Many thanks for your kind attention to Coppen Range, and other matters of mine. Yes, my esteemed and friendly export in Coppers, like other Bostonians including Lawson, was a mere league or two out of his bearings. Still, the praise did advance and let's say "he did it!"

You and your family are keeping well I trust, to you all, I send kindest greetings. The growth in buildings here since Louise's time is great.
