bought 12 pieces finer than is owned in any Museum - and while the prices are low comparatively speaking they run up into the thousands of pounds-

I have paid in cash for one piece- the 11 others cost £2.950 and some more pieces are to be submitted tomorrow. I shall have to draw for a part or all of this acct tomorrow.

I have also bought from Wallis & Son too superb Whistler pastels at a cost of £519.15. The bill for the latter will go to Mr Kennedy tomorrow along with details of the Larkin purchase-
