Your letter of Feby.4th, reached me here yesterday, with its interesting news and the newspaper clipping form Miss Birnie-Philips.  If Pennell can be jacked-up for his slanderous remarks, I hope Miss Birnie Philip's lawyers will turn the screw with their full might. I am glad that Mrs Hecker and little Louise are doing so well at Colorado Springs, but am sorry that Anna should have such frequent and severe attacks from her all-time enemy. 

Mr. Glover's illness is a serious matter, but I hope that he may yet recover.
