"MISCELLANEOUS LIST OF WHISTLER'S WORK, INCLUDING OIL PAINTING, PASTELS, DRAWINGS, WOOD ENGRAVINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHS RESERVED SEPTEMBER 1, 1914."

(All of the articles names in the "MISCELLANEOUS LIST," excepting the small number to be destroyed of otherwise disposed of are to go to the Smithsonian Institution.)

Also, the following mentioned painting in Oil: No.5933 "The Red Cow," by A.P. Rider. 11 1.2" x 12". No.5938 "A Prize Bull," by Abbot H. Thayer. 12" x 16".
In addition to all of the objects above mentioned, I would like you to also send to the Smithsonian Institution -
All Chinese and Japanese tables, stands and pedestals, either in wood, lacquer, stone, or other material, including the wooden table which was specially made for me after the original in Daitokuji Temple, Japan, and numbered 5353 of the "Miscellaneous List".
Also, such other pedestals, stands, cases and furniture now in use in my house or stored in vaults in Detroit or elsewhere, as may seem, in the judgement of yourself and Mr. Charles A. Platt, suitable for use in the Museum building now being erected in Washington for the care and exhibition of my collections. 
Also such pieces of textiles, rugs, or hangings entered on the list of "Textiles", already marked in red ink to be given to the Smithsonian institution, and, in addition, all other textiles of like nature, mentioned in the list which may appeal to Mr. Platt as appropriate for the Smithsonian Institution.
