Dear Mr. Freer: Upon my return to town after my Christmas holiday, I am catching up with my correspondence and wish to say in answer to your letter of December fourteenth that you may, of course, send a copy of my letter to Mr. Russell and I shall be very pleased and honored if you will nominate me as a member in the Japan Society.
