the photographs have already been taken, but others will have to be done hereafter. I think, however, all will be ready for you before you reach Paris. I shall leave Detroit about November tenth on my way to Egypt, but in my absence Mr. Kennedy will forward the photographs to you. I hope they will reach you in good time and condition.

My plans are to sail from New York on November fifteenth, stopping at Naples a couple of days and then continue to Alexandria. This should bring me to Cairo early in December, and I shall spend all of that month in Egypt and possibly a part of January. In any event, I hope to be in Cairo when you arrive there in January. As yet, I do not know what my address in Cairo will be, but I will let you know when I determine it. In any event, I shall stop at one of the three leading hotel + the Savoy, Shepherds and the Geizeah. Still, there will be no difficulty in our finding each other shortly after your arrival.

I am pleasantly wondering how you will feel when you have finished with Japan. You have humorously named me "the Mikado of the Screens." I think I shall have to call you "The Mikado of all of the arts of the Orient." How
