No. 33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
October 18th.,1906.

D. J . R. Ushikubo, Esquire,
c/o 254 Fifth Avenue, New York City.

My dear Mr. Ushikubo:-

You will, I am sure, remember Stephen who is the care taker of my art collections. He left for the East last night and I have asked him to call both at your Boston and New York stores, and to have a peep at a real Japanese Art House. When he calls at your New York store let him look through, please, but do not feel inclined to any other obligation whatever. I simply want him to see your things on display and the way in which you take care of them.

Thanking you in advance, I remain,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
