Dear Sir:--

A telegram has just come from Mr. Havemeyer reading as follows:

"Please arrange Monday ten o'clock at my house. Many thanks".

You will therefore arrange to have the paintings at Mr. Havemeyer's house in Fifth Avenue at ten o'clock on Monday morning next, and as suggested in my letter of yesterday, you had better secure the trunk in time to take it to the Lincoln Deposit Company and put the paintings in it in time to be at Mr. Havemeyer's house at ten o'clock as named. You can put the Kakemono in the trunk and then hire a cab in Forty-second Street, near the Lincoln Deposit Company, and make the cabman take you to Mr. Havemeyer's. Afterward you can take the trunk containing the Kakemono back to the Lincoln Deposit Company, leaving it there over Monday night and take it out again on Tuesday for the home trip.
