I am giving this matter attention thus early while I am sure of the time to do it. After this week I shall be very much rushed, and am sailing from New York on November fifteenth. In fact, I may have to go to Vermont and back here again before I leave for my outing.

The transfer of assets will be accompanied by a full detailed statement which is now in course of preparation. A copy of the statement will be sent you along with the Trust Company's receipt for the securities. The Power of Attorney running to Colonel Hecker and myself will be kept in the Colonel's possession until after Hance shall have received your Power to the Trust Company when the present Powers will be returned to you by Kennedy. I thought it wiser to retain the Powers to the Colonel and myself until the one running to the Trust might occur in the interim.
