No. 13 Perry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
October 23rd., 1966.

My dear Doctor Brinckmann:

Permit me the pleasure of introducing to you my friend, Mr. Bunschichi Kobayashi, of Kioto Japan.

I have known Mr. Kobayashi a number of years and through his efforts I have secured a number of very fine specimens of Japanese Art. In books and prints, Mr. Kobayashi has had more experience than all other Japanese dealers combined. A majority of all the finer colour prints owned in Europe and America have, at some time, passed through Mr. Kobayashi's hands. He makes annual trips to America and this year decided to visit England, France and Germany. I have advised him to call upon you while in Hamburg and I am sure you will enjoy meeting him. I need not add the satisfaction I feel in being the means of introducing two gentlemen so deeply interested in Japanese Art.

Believe me,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
