No. 33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
October 26th., 1906.

My dear Mr. Morse:-

When the plans for your visit, which had to be postponed, were under consideration, I had intended to have invited Miss Myra Plumb to meet yourself and Mrs. Morse. Miss Plumb is a particular friend of mine and is the daughter of Mr. Robert E. Plumb, of this city, with whom I have had intimate business relations for a great many years. Recently Miss Plumb married Mr. Frederick Standish Colburn of Evanston, formerly of Detroit. He is of the same family that Miss Watson has visited here. Mr. and Mrs. Colburn are now in Europe on their honeymoon and will return to Evanston about December first and make that their future home. They have taken the Arnsby house on Maple Street, and I want very much to have both Mrs. Morse and yourself meet Mrs. Colburn. You doubtless have met her husband already. I know, of course, that under existing circumstances you will be living a very quiet Winter, but I hope this will not interfere with your meeting Mrs.
