Colburn at an early day. You will find her one of the very best people you have ever known and she, I am sure, will be glad to know you both.

It will be unnecessary for me to send a line to Miss Watson on this subject, as she will doubtless be one of the first to call quietly upon Mrs. Colburn. Evanston is very fortunate in having Mrs. Colburn as a resident, but their gain is our loss.

I am getting matters pretty well cleaned up prior to sailing from New York on November fifteenth. Of course, before going, I shall write you all the news concerning additions to my collection et cetera. The one matter of great expectancy to me is the arrival of Matsuki about November seventh or eight with the Kakei Roll which I bought through him lately.

With all good messages to yourself and Mrs. Morse,

Believe me,
Sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
