No. 915 Union Trust Bldg.,
Detroit, Michigan,
November 1st.,1906.

George H. Russel, Esquire,
President, State Savings Bank, Detroit, Mich.

My dear Mr. Russel:

I am sending for you information an excerpt from a letter which I have just written to Mrs. Augustus Saint-Gaudens, of Windsor, Vermont, Which I hope will meet with your approval and prove to be the most convenient way for her to make use of the credit which you were good enough to arrange with me this morning:

"I have arranged with the State Savings Bank of this City so that you can draw funds from time to time at your pleasure, up to the sum of thirty-two thousand dollars ($32,000.00) as per my letter of October twenty-fourth. The credit is already arranged and you begin its use whenever you wish to do so. Please send me your signature written upon a small sheet of plain paper which I can turn into the Bank for identification purposes.

The simplest way to obtain funds will be to write a letter addressed to Mr. George H. Russel, President, State Savings Bank, Detroit, Michigan, whenever you wish money, telling him the amount desired. He will mail you a check payable in New York which you can deposit in your own bank account in that city. Your receipt for the sums received will be the only document required."
