Dear Professor Morse:-

I appreciate your kind reception of the objects I sent to your Museum and I hope they will add some little interest to the finer things you already have.

I am clearing the decks this week preparatory to sailing for the Orient from New York on Thursday, next, and if in my wanderings I happen to find anything which I think will add real value to the treasures you already possess,I shall not forget you.

Be good to yourself and see that everyone is very kind to your pots in the Boston Museum. The time is not very far distant when their tremendous interest will be better understood and appreciated.

Good bye.

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
