My dear Mr. Kelekian:-

I have read your letter of November fifth with pleasure and, of course, I would be glad to see you in Detroit any day this week up to Saturday next, on which day I shall close my house and start for New York via Kingston. I shall be in New York on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week and shall sail for Naples on the "Hamburg" on Thursday, the fifteenth instant. If you happen to be going on the same steamer I should be greatly pleased. I am sorry my time here is so short and so very fully occupied. On Thursday of this week the Archaeological Society of the State of Michigan are to hold their annual meeting in my home, and this with the closing up of my business affairs will keep me exceedingly busy until the very hour of my departure for New York. However, if you come to Detroit prior to Saturday next, the collections can be seen under the guidance of my men, but personally,
