No. 33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
November 6th., 1906.

John R. Russell, Esquire,
Chairman Entertainment Committee, University Club,
Detroit, Michigan.

Dear Sir:-

I regret exceedingly that it will be impossible for me to attend the annual dinner of the University Club which takes place on the evening of Saturday next. I am leaving Detroit either that day or the day following to be absent for six or eight months, and the rush of things to be done in the meantime will prevent me from participating in the dinner.

Yours very sincerely,
Charles L. Freer
