at the Belmont Hotel from late Monday night until Thursday noon, the fifteenth instant. My steamer sails on that day at three o'clock in the afternoon from the Hoboken Pier, so I shall have to leave the Hotel not later than one o'clock and shall, of course, be very busy with a number of things needing attention in New York, but if you are to be in the city on those days, or if it is not too much trouble for you to run down for an hour's chat with me, I shall be very glad indeed to see you. Sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
