No. 33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit,Michigan,
November 10th.,1906.

William Carson, Esquire,
Sheffield, Mass.

Dear Sir:-

In answer to your inquiry of November 7th.: It will be entirely satisfactory to drill a hole through the bottom of the drinking trough and to let the drain pipe enter through the hole and be placed high enough in the tub to keep the water within one inch of the top of the tub. This over-flow pipe should lead into the drinking place now located in the corner of the paddock.

I am sailing from New York on Thursday next, the fifteenth instant.

Good bye and good wishes to yourself and family.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
