Detroit to-morrow night and shall take the sketch with me to New York and arrange, after consulting with Mr. Mead, to have some good frame maker execute it. At the same time I shall also settle with him for the frame that Mr. White loaned, so we will have two frames instead of one for the picture. I have already ordered the old frame sent to your address and it may have reached you even in advance of this letter. If it has not reached you it will be along soon.

I shall drop you another note from New York before sailing telling you who is to make the frame.

In haste,

Yours affectionately
Charles L. Freer
