Dear Sir:-
There has been received at the Custom House in this city, a case containing twelve pieces of pottery, shipped by A. Weston from Yokohama, with instructions to the Custom House Broker here to deliver it to you [[strikethrough]] here [[/strikethrough]], care Mr. Freer.

Not having had any word from you of the expected arrival of the case here, will you kindly inform me if the shipment was made for your account, and if the case belongs to you.  Meanwhile it is in the possession of the Custom Officials.
